About Travel Packages
Total Sports Travel offers the most comprehensive service in the industry both prior to and during your tour, providing each fan with a complete tour itinerary and a full-time tour representative who will act as a guide.
Our packages offer amenities such as:
- Ground Transportation: Attendees travel worry-free while Total Sports Travel takes them from the airport to the hotel, to the stadium, and to any special events arranged for our travelers. This service includes all baggage handling, when appropriate.
- Event Tickets: Total Sports Travel can procure regular-season tickets as well as tickets to special events such as tournament games, championship games, bowl games and more.
- Optional Sight-Seeing Tours: Travelers will have the opportunity to experience some spectacular sights, shop at interesting stores, and experience great dining. It is an opportunity to simply relax and vacation while enjoying your favorite sport.
- Trip Insurance Coverage: To make travel worry-free, Total Sports Travel offers insurance coverage for each attendee.
- Internet Accessibility: Total Sports Travel maintains its own web site featuring information about all trips for the schools with which we work.
- Event Gift/Souvenir Pack: When appropriate, each attendee will receive a complimentary souvenir, exclusive to Total Sports Travel package travelers.
Terms and Conditions
Special Event Reservations/Deposits: Travel packages for SEC Football Championships, Bowl Games, and NCAA/NIT Basketball Tournament are non refundable. Full payment is due at time of booking.
Regular Season Reservations/Deposits: A deposit of $200 per person ($100 of which is non-refundable) is due to Total Sports Travel in order to secure reservations on the travel package. The balance of your payment will be due 60 days prior to the trip. Reservations made within 60 days of trip departure date require full payment. Travel packages which include air may require additional deposits.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be reported in writing to Total Sports Travel 60 days prior to the trip in order to receive full refund (except for the $50 per person handling fee). No refund is available if cancellations occur less than 60 days prior to the trip. This refund constitutes the only liability on the part of the Travel Agency in connection with such cancellations. No reduction in fare and/or partial refunds can be granted to passengers deviating from the itinerary of the trip. In the event the itinerary is changed before departure, participants will be notified and will have the opportunity to cancel without penalty with three days of notification.
Name Changes: Name changes permitted up to 30 days in advance of trip departure with a $50.00 fee per person on the land portion of the package. Name changes on commercial airline tickets are subject to commercial airline fees and rules in effect.
Responsibility & Liability: The Travel Agency has procured accommodations and services furnished in connection with the tour. The Travel Agency shall be responsible to the tour members as set forth in the brochure, except to the extent such services and accommodations cannot be supplied due to delays, or other causes beyond the control of the Travel Agency. In the event the services and accommodations cannot be provided due to the above reasons or the tour operator amends the itinerary and or accommodations after the tour has commenced, if it is determined to be in the best interest of participants, or in the event services are not used due to voluntary omission by the tour participants, refunds will not be granted. The tour member waives any claim against the travel agency in the absence of negligence on its part for any damage or loss of property or injury to or death of any person due to any act of negligence of any hotel or any other person rendering any of the services and accommodations in the ground portion of the itinerary. The Travel Agency shall not be responsible for any delays, substitution of equipment or any act or omission whatsoever by the carrier, its agents, servants and employees and tour members waive any claim against the Travel Agency arising therefrom. In the event the air carrier contracted to perform the air transportation described is delayed in performance or unable to perform, the provisions of the Airline Reporting Corporation regulations shall govern the rights and obligation of the parties. The Travel Agency shall not be responsible in any way for the loss or damage to tour member baggage. The liability of the carrier for loss or damage to personal baggage shall be limited to the actual value of such baggage but not more than $750.00 per passenger unless a higher value has been declared with respect thereto and additional payment made in accordance with the carrier applicable tariff. The Travel Agency reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any tour member as a participant of these tours at any time. If any tour member is removed for the tour proportionate refund of un-used services shall be made.
Insurance: Health, accident and trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. The Travel Agency will furnish details upon request.
Tour Prices: The tour price quoted herein is based upon current rates of exchange and the carriers current tariffs. Further extraordinary fluctuations in the carriers tariff could cause the tour price to increase prior to departure.
Notice: Total Sports Travel reserves the right to change, waive, amend or modify these general terms and conditions at any time on any travel package without notice prior to purchase.
